Enjoy a Bloomin' Onion at "Outback"

One of my friend worked part-time in a famouse American restaurant named "Outback" which is a multiple restaurtant around the world. The emplyees in Outback have 20 % discount if they dine there. Last week, she invited me to eat at Outback so that I would have the same discount as she. When the first time I walked into Outback, the wide pavement and the atmosphere which is like a lounge bar suprised me a lot! It was hardly for me to image that Outback is just a restaurant. However, they also provide wine if you really need to drink. Actually, Outback is a steak house but it also provides other delicious cuisine such Italian pasta or other American food. Briefly, you can have many food choice at Outback so that I think one of the advantages you dine there is that it can satisfied every customers who have different appetites! Now, let me introduce you what we had ordered at Outback!

Before showing the food pictures, the cover of the menu was worth to be introduced. Obviously, the declining sun follwing with the truck fully reflects on the amorous feelings in America. The warm and interesting cover makes the customer feel comfortable.

 Before the food we ordered, they gave us the" brown sugar with honey bread" for free. The bread was delicious so that I ate totally two of it. It tasted soft and sweet. It had the smell of brown sugar which is also sweet. I think the bread itself was delicious enough so that is was unnecessary to add the butter.

Bloomin' Onion

The "Bloomin' Onion" is a recommended specialty of Outback. The cuisin is well-known by its flower appearance and crispy taste. It tasted crispy and crumbly. It smelled oily but savoury. My friedn talked me that it is the most popular cuisine of Outback. To be honest, I also think it is a interesting and delicious cuisine so that i will order it all the time whnever I go there.

Kookaburra Wings

Chicken wings tossed in secret spices and served with

creamy Blue Cheese dressing and celery. Choose mild,
medium or hot.

The "Chicken Wings" were juicy and soft. It had different and special flavor while tasting it with celery and blue cheese. Although it is a common food of America cuisine, it is still a famouse dish among others.

   

Toowoomba Pasta

Grilled shrimp, mushrooms

and Parmesan with fettuccine and a rich
cream sauce.$450

There were many shrimps and mushrooms in" Toowoomba Pasta". Because of the cream sauce, it tasted vey oily and salty. It was an American Style pasta which is heany taste than Italian style pasta. Actually, I didn't like this cuisine since it was too  fat for me.

Cheesecake

New York-style with a choice of raspberry or homemade chocolate sauce. $190

Is it happy for you if you have desserts after  meal? Having desserts after meal is an full enjoment

for me. I heard that the cheesecake came from New York so that the quantitiy of it is limited. Surprinsingly, it melted immediately when I ate it. Also, it was not so sweet to me but the flavor of cheese fullfilled my mouth. I can't forget the flavor of the cheesecake.  

Eventually, I recommend everybody  to Outback since their cuisine are delicious and the environment there are also comfortable for us to have a wonderful meal. Although the price is a little expensive, it is worth for you to try once. I will provide some information of Outback below. I hope you will enjoy your meal next time, see you!

Delicious Italian Cuisine in "White Door"

Welcome to my blog!

The first delicious restaurant in Taichung that I want to share is just near our Dunghai University!!!

So now, you start to image that you are a princess living in a white palace and enjoys Italian cuisine. Although  it sounds a little strange, you will be very surprised if you go into "White door" where i was atracted by their delicious cuisine and fancy environment which decorated by white and pink! "White door" is a restaurant providing delicious Italian cuisine with beautiful decoration, then the customers feel relax and enjoy while dining there.   

The appearance of "White door" is plain only with white door and yellow wall. Since I took pictures of that at night so that it is pity we can't see how bright their appearance is!

There were many fake flowers decorated upon the shelfs near the corner.  Many girls were attracted by this kind of decoration so that  many girls came than boys.

Ya! it's the content of the menu. Spaghetti, penne, Fafalle, Italy pizza and some steaks are the main cuisine in "White door". They also provides some popular casserole! As you can see, the price of that is not so expensive, then the average price of one person is about NT.300.  

 The centerpiece before our dinner was very simple without too many tablewares so that we could just enjoy our delicious meal.



There were more waiters than waitress! How surprised!

Next, I am going to introduce the delicious spaghetti and homemade pizza!

It is "Spaghetti with pine nuts and clams in pesto sauce!" NT. 170

In "White door", this  is the most popular spaghetti with many many clams and many many spaghetti in adish! The sauce was not too salty but had the taste of fresh seafood. The clams were also fresh and delicious as well as plump and pretty. The Spaghetti was chewy and al dente! Yummy! This dish is worth to be introduced to you! If you like spaghetti in pesto sauce, I suggest you  go to "White door" and taste it right now!

The waiter will give you another dish for you to throw the left shells from the clams!

The spaghetti was another dish my friend ordered. It is called" Spaghetti with chicken in spicy meat sauce". NT.170  The chicken inside was also many which tasted soft and tender. The sauce smelled like a garlic mixed with meat. Although this was too heavy for me, it was also yummy and delicious!

However, i didn't drink it since it was too sweet!
The juice was as normal as that of ａconviencece store.

It is "Shrimp and corn pizza with Margherita pizza".NT.230 In "White door", we can order two different kinds of pizza in a 8 size pizza. The pizza tasted crispy and chewy that was like cookies. Of couse, it was too big for me to eat  so that i suggest you can order one pizza then share it with 2-3 people.

"White door" was a very suitable restaurant for meetings or dates because of their comfortable dining environment and delicious food. They have reasonable price and good attitude in servicing to customers. The most important thing is that their location is near Dunghai University so that it only takes fewer minutes to there. Next time if you wonder about where to have dinner, the restarant-"White door" will be one of the best choice!
